Draping is a technique that involves working directly in a three-dimensional way. You could call it sculpting in cloth. “It is the soul of Haute Couture. A good understanding of it requires practical experience and a feel for the materials. This course is a follow up from draping 1.
Course Project
This course will help you develop the skills and confidence you need for more complicated styling .
Course Work
In each class you’ll take part in a hands-on demonstration, developing your draping skills and learning techniques specific to creating your designs. Then you will work with guidance while sculpting your style.

darts, style lines and manipulation
necklines, fixed pleats, gathers, flares, yokes, and waterfall effects
sculpting and shaping your toile
intuition, originality, imagination
expressing your designs in dialogue with cloth
