Printed tees, striped tunics and colourful camisoles to laid back hoodies, soft shirts and wear-with-everything bodies, a knit top will be your hardest working wardrobe staple!
In this class you will learn how to sew with an over-locker (serger) and a variety of stretch knit stitches while learning special techniques with knit fabrics.

Course Project

Create a stretch knit top.

Course Work

In each class you will take part in a hands-on demonstration, developing your sewing skills and learning techniques specific to making your project. Then you will work with guidance on your class project.

Course Outline

sewing machine and stretch knit basics
tools, terminology
seam finishes
figure analysis and measuring techniques
prepare your pattern, marking and cutting with knit fabrics.
